L3830 HST - Cruise Control lever frozen/stuck?

I think we are saying the same thing. The cruise control lever advances the speed control pedal in the forward direction, but movement of the cruise control lever is not limited by speed control pedal position. I have to admit, I have no idea what would happen if the speed pedal was in reverse while trying to advance the cruise control lever. Never even thought about it until now.

according to the manual, backwards pedal action cannot be engaged while cruise is engaged, as one of the rods restricts the action. And yeah, I think we were just saying the same thing in two different ways.

Also...make sure there is a spring connected underneath.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like everyone is connected appropriately per the manual, just all seized up! and possibility in a couple different areas.
