L3830 or L4330 Need your help choosing.

The L3130 to L3830 use a zerkless front axle where the turning pivot operates. The L4330 to L5030 use a zerk. They indeed are different axles even though all have been beefed up.

WELL....ITS DONE. I ordered a L5030HST. It was only $1200 more than the L4330 and I thought the extra HP was worth it.

I drove one and I swear they are the easiest things to drive. I have been using an old L355SS and the new HST is so much easier to operate.

I did order the R4 tires and hope they work well in the trees...I guess if I had to I could use chains.

Any words of advice for a sone to be brand new owner would be appreciated. Pre delivery inspection advice?

Thats funny my L3830 has zerks in the front axle pivots!

It has zerks on the pivots but not where the axle and wheel turn. Kind of like the king axle I guess you might call it.
