L39 ROCKS!

Rat,

I will be more careful about grease. I've been good, but not great. I'm beginning to think that 10 hours is too long. I don't want the bucket to get all sloppy in a few years.

Hey Jim, I did spray paint the bucket when I welded on the clevis grab hooks.

I'm taking it in next week to get the rear hydraulic remotes hooked up, haven't had time to attend to that up until now.

Can't imagine that can be as heavy as granite. Granite is about as heavy and dense as it gets. However, they are some huge boulders and it's unlikey many CUTS could move them. I wonder if an 8 series loader could lift them on a 4630...I doubt it.

Nice...Rear hydraulics! That's something I'm going to have to wait a bit for.

I got my front hydraulics hooked up finally......Can't wait to try a post hole digger with it.

L39 weak /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif That person(s) must be confused or have no clue about what to expect of a relatively small TLB.

Yes MY L39 is weak, I did not say yours was. I certainly did not expect that I would get a tractor that did not lift what it is rated.

I have a little 1983 17 HP B7200. For what it is that little tractor is, it's not weak. In fact the B7200 can lift 1/2 what my L39 can.
An L39 ought to do 4-5 times what my B7200 can lift. I expect the L39 will be fine, once the dealer sets the hydraulics to spec. The L39 went back to the dealer on 7/1/05. I will also have them do the 50 hour service.

Attached is a photo of a +800 Lbs rock my B7200 was pround that it could lift a few inches and carry some distance. Beat the heck out of trying to push and rolling it up hill.

Let us know how that thing "rocks" when you get it back from the dealer, something certainly is amiss as our L-39 is a virtual bulldozer compared to our L-3130 with the LA723 FEL. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Interesting you keep mentioning this. I had a L48 that has a much larger bucket and even larger capacity then the L39 and find the L3830 and LA 723 very acceptable and much quicker. Perhaps your L3130's LA 723 is in need of a little attention as well. Of course, the L3830 I have is HST vs GST which I can attest to adding considerable manuverability but then the L48 was also HST. If the L39 had a loader that was removeable, it would be a consideration for me if I had a true need for a hoe on a routine basis. Keep showing us the progress you've made around your abode. RaT...

Take it easy there Mike.....I didn't know it was you that they were talking about. I know the story of your machine and hope it gets fixed soon.
