I have a L3800 and I run a heavy 5' rotary cutter. It would handle a 6' medium duty without a problem.

If most of your tasks are mowing, and just general work, the L3901 is perfectly fine. If you're planning to do anything with round bales, you need to jump up to the L4701.

I asked the dealer about rear remotes for the L4701. They said they can add rear remotes with valves and linkages for $1500. I assuming thats for one rear remote? And whats the linkage part of that?

Each remote comes as two kits. The lever kit which includes the linkage, control handle and hardware for a specific tractor and a separate valve slice of choice, self centering, with detented float, etc. several models of tractors would use the same valve slice choices.

^^^ Thanks for that.

I was playing around with the Kubota tractor builder and that must be for 3 valves. The price for 3 valves and levers on the builder is like $1700 or so depending which valves you choose.

The dealer didnt mention which ones theyd put on so Ill try to get some clarification from them. I wasnt going to pay $1500 for 1 valve. But for 3 then heck yea. I feel like youd want at least 3.
