L4150 serial number

Can I tell the year of the tractor from thr serial number,if not how can I tell what year it is?

The L4150 was sold from 1985 thru 1991. In those days Kubota warehoused a number of tractors of each model and assigned model years to them as they were sold from inventory.

Machinery Link lists the several L4150 models with years. But not by serial number.

Tractortips lists some serial numbers and gives model years, specs. I couldn't nail down the serial number you listed - but my guess is late '80s. If the tractor is the newer brighter orange it may be a '90 or '91.

If you call Kubota in Columbus, OH 614-492-1100 and give them the serial number they can tell you the date it was first sold at retail and even the customer's name. (Not sure they're still doing this - haven't tried it in a while)
