While operating my L4240 HST this past weekend, a problem developed with the H-DS shifting. In the morning when the tractor was first started, I could shift the H-DS lever from high to low with no problem. Then after an hour or so, when I would put the H-DS lever to high it would go right back to low. After a while, it wouldn't even to shift to high. Then it starting shifting into high, but dropping back to low. The next day, again, it was fine at first, then started acting up. When I would put the H-DS in high, it would stay there for a few seconds or so, then switch to low. On Sunday, I ran the tractor most of the day and everything was fine. I was not operating the tractor in the "Auto H-DS" mode. I called my dealer and they said they never heard of this happening before.
The were no error codes on the display.
