We went over to the Kubota dealer Tue. and looked at a BX and B, we got this crazy idea of maybe selling the JD X720 for something diesel, which I know would save us a bunch fuel and would be convenient to just fill up at the 500gal. tank but with what we would lose on the X720 vs. what it cost to get something my wife would be happy with it take us 10-15 years to gain back in fuel savings cost. The X720 is an awesome mower but man does ever like to drink gas.
Anyway I was talking to the head mechanic, the one that fixed our L3940, about the filter and he said it's a pressure filter, I'm assuming it on the pressure side and hydraulics I'm familiar with can easily run up to +3000psi, so I feel the likelyhood of someone making a comparable filter is probably going to be slim.
