Wow, I just finished putting 3 trucklite led work-lights on my tractor and the light is amazing. I have a foldable rops and mounted two on the existing nuts and put the third on the rear hydraulic mount facing back. I wired them into the existing work-light wires. Should have done it sooner.

My son is coming home this weekend and he knows a whole lot more about the digital camera than I do so i'll see if he can help me get some. Unfortunately I only have access to dial-up internet so I don't know if that will be a problem. Other than being expensive the led lights sure are nice.

Sir,

Where did you get your LED lights and if you don't minding sharing, how much?

Seems like the way to go when current draw is an issue.

Thanks. BD

I found the lights on sale at Midwestwheel in Des Moines Iowa. I paid $250 for 2 truck-lite 81360 work lights and 1 truck-lite 81380 spot for the back. This was about $125 less than I had found them anywhere else. They are supposed to draw only 1.2 amps per light. I used a marine switch since it is mounted on the top of the fender. I talked to my son and he said he should be able to get some photos on for me.

That looks like a good installation. Have you used it in working conditions yet? It looks like the forward facing lights are about at eye level. I just wondered if they will blind you when you look to the rear to look at an implement or to back up??? Looks good though.

When I was putting them on I was afraid that they would bother but it was so easy to put them there with the welded nuts that I just had to try. I have used them a couple of times now and absolutely no problem either forward or backing. I wear glasses so I also thought I might get reflection facing forward but again no problem. I don't know if it helps that they are led's but the light doesn't seem as harsh as an incandescent.
