That's the PB (power beyond) port. Not all valves have a PB port, but many open center loader valves have one. Instead of the flow going to exhaust when centered, the PB port blocks that path and sends pressurized oil along to be used downstream. In this case, the quick connectors can send it to power the 3-point hitch or to the backhoe.

The 3 point hitch is operating correctly now. I discovered the backhoe has a built in filter that may need cleaned. I tried to get it open today but I couldn't I'll have to give it another shot with bigger wrenches.

I completely tore down and reassembled the loader valve. No improvement and no obvious problems. I read of one person with a similar problem on another forum. He eventually found the spool was slightly (.003") out of true. It seems crazy that that could cause the problem. Someone help me understand what is going on please.
