L5030 Delivered Today

Good evening, I was in need of a larger tractor for my farm, I posted in the JD section looking to see what my tractor was worth, I sold the green one and came back to orange and think I did okay. Paid $16500 for a 1000 hr
L5030, HST, LA853 loader, 2 new front r-4's and a new 3 prong quick detach hay bucket, the bucket and tires were extra, started at 15k before I added those 2 things. From what I have read, seems to be a good tractor, Thoughts on price and what to expect vs old tractor (JD 4310), Thanks.

It's a GREAT tractor...you did fine on the price.... suggest you search these forums for L5030 and read about all that people have done with them and attached to them. You will love the HST. Put hooks on your FEL. Hope it is Quick Attach.. super handy.

Welcome to TBN.... and, keep posting, with photos, to let us know what you are doing with the vehicle.... I have over 630 hrs on mine...no problems... suggest you change fluids unless you know they have been changed latey.

Welcome to the 5030 club, you will enjoy the perks.

The only thing I would change on mine is about 1/3 bigger and about 30 more hp, but nonetheless it is one strong mule.

Okay, here it is with the hay fork attached, 2nd pick is what I have been doing since May, my wife tells me there is 24 hours in a day and to use them wisely

. The tractor was a consignment at a dealer so it was fully serviced. Thanks.

Absolutely, love to chat about the car. 1969 SS Chevelle 396 /350 hp,
4 speed,convertible. Got it from Texas a few years ago, looks good in pic, but not up close, took it off frame , restored interior, seats,carpet, rebuilt motor, tranny, everything is new or rebuilt, and now waiting for final paint, painter is SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!only thing I am changing is the wheels/tires .
