... It's a funny thing though, as I used the same TSC fluid on my first trans/hydraulic oil change about 4 years ago and everything worked fine afterwards. Maybe TSC is getting their trans/hydraulic oil from a different manufacturer now?

I don't think they changed anything... I picked some more up recently... replaced about 5 gallons in my tractor, broke a hydraulic hose...
It's working the same as with the other oil...
Cold makes it shift slower, engage the clutch slower, until it heats up. KennyV

Before you just throw away your new oil, try a friction modifier (zinc additive package). Case Construction dealers used to carry it for their applications with wet brakes and clutches as the standard CE fluid did not have it as some of the older machines did not require a friction modifier.

If you are hearing any growling from the brakes or PTO that you did not have with the original Kubota fluid, likely that is all that is wrong with fluid.

YC, I suppose I could have tried this option, by I have already acted on gwdixon's advice and replaced the T/H fluid with the New Holland Mastertran fluid. It sounds like a good idea though.

The tractor engages gears much more smoothly now. I will be much more careful in the future about what I dump into my transmition case. Just because the label says it is a Kubota UDT equivalent, it does not make it the same thing-- At least that has been my experience.

This is a similar issue, when I did the 50 hour on the L3130GST and put in the Kubota Super UDT the shifts became quicker and smoother. Now I do not know what was put in from the dealer on initial fill or to top off when the backhoe was added, but I have become a believer of Super UDT in the Kubota HST and GST systems. Also I think the newer GSTs with the Intellipanel may of added more parameters to time the shifts than the first generations of the GST transmission.
