Land Planes

Anyone have comments good/bad regarding Frontier Land Planes?

They are average land planes, light in weight but good quality construction. I prefer to build this particular tool myself as it is a simple project. If you can weld these cost about $100/ft to build with new double edged blades.

I've been looking at them for some time now. The only one I would buy is the LP1207. It's considerably heavier than the LP1172.

This one has been for sale on TractorHouse.com for a while now. Slightly used... but I've had my eye on it. Just been too busy buying other attachments. :laughing:
