:laughing::laughing: Can you imagine how dangerous that would be!

Hey Rick,
I've never heard about the Delta Hook system! Thanks for posting that, learn something new every day! Also, thanks for posting it AFTER I made my purchase :D

Just goes to show you that we all learn from each other on TBN.

Now let's see....Matt was on a first name basis with the Land Pride rep to work out the details, then bought a Speeco. Hum-m-m. Maybe I'd do the same thing if the price was that far off.

I was under the impression that he bought a Land Pride unit. :confused3: In post #31 he said that he was going with the LP unit.

Yeah, and RickB said LP and Speeco are duplicates. I think Matt is under the impression that LP makes their own. I researched Speeco and it appears they make their own too. I don't know much about legalities, but know enough that this would be copyright infringement. Has my curiosity up but I'm not sure how to get a confirmation. I think if we called LP and Speeco they will both say they make their own......

Kinda the same confusion with Box Blades. Mine is labeled LP. It's an identical match to a Gannon. Hmmmmmm......

I've saw this several times with aftermarket Jeep modifications. A guy will start in his backyard shop with a new widget. For a few years he'll market it under his name. Then you'll start seeing it marketed under a larger companies name. Finally you can no longer find the original makers name anywhere in regards to the product. He's still in his backyard hammering them out though. Just selling to large distributors instead of direct to buyers.

Perks my curiosity though. Anyone have a definite answer?

Here is link to the Delta Hook site.

After having such great service from the CAT1 Delta Hook on our Kubota and other CAT 1 implements I still wonder why I didn't go with the CAT 2 DH on our New Holland. I still might take the QA back to TSC and bite the bullet on the CAT 2 DH.

Me too :confused3:

Perhaps I should have said, I bought a quick hitch made from somebody, which happens to have labels that say "LandPride QH15" on it. However, I'm sure even the LABELS weren't made by Landpride.

I really don't know for sure if LP makes their own units, and I can't bring myself to call them again

I'm going to look around and see if I can find some pieces of pipe, that I can drill out to 7/8" ID and turn down to something between 1-1/8" to 1-7/16" to use as bushings for my clevis style implements.

Yeah, I prefer clevis style hookups. Especially with the QH. If I'm modifying anything I always go for clevis style. I just think they are tougher. Especially with ground engagement tools.
