Mark all joking aside the box I'm looking at (1572) do you think it will be heavy enough I guess thats my main concern. In the way its built for durability that is. If I don't go with the 15 I believe I will go with the 25 but there isn't very much weight difference in the two.
As for rake how does the add-on blade work with yours. As far as raising and lowering.
I sold my 2350 to a man and he also bought a few of my attachments for the prices he was offering me I couldn't refuse. He didn't want to bother getting from a dealer. He also bought a couple of my custom creations---go figure---
Thanks in advance for any help

I don't think there's much difference, Gordon. As you already know, other than features, which are about the same, the other differences can be determined by weight difference and there's not much. I think you'd be happy with the 15.

So what "custom creations" did he buy?

He bought L2350, my homemade grader, my homemade chainlink fence harrow, my gannon boxblade (I told him it was to big for that tractor) and my homemade 3pt log lift-puller. He offered me a package deal for it all and I all most fell over when he said it. He asked if I would hold it for a week and gave me a down payment, he was back in three days with cash money and tickled to death that I held it for him.
He is happy I'm VERY happy so all is good.

I was on a B20 all day and have decided that my next tractor will have a HST without a doubt. It's a loaner from the dealer he still has not fixed my L3750 shaft leak properly. What a little hobby horse that B20 is not bad after a few hours of getting used to it. The r-4s are junk in the mud. But at least I got some paying work done today--between the 8n and the B20 it took alittle longer than the L3750 would have. Man that thing has a small bucket on it,but it's a little workhorse thats for sure.

Gordon - I'm glad you got such a good deal. I'm sure you have a place to spend all than money. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Two comments re the R4's: First, were they ballasted? It's true that they don't work as well in mud as R1's (well the stock ones don't), but they're a lot worse unballasted, partly because the weight of the tractor is spread over a much larger area. If you ballast them, they'll do a lot better, often pretty close to ags because of the greater capacity for ballast weight. Second, I'll say again that I think the Michelin R4's are better than any ag tire I've ever seen. So, it's not the fact that they're R4's, it's the design of the tire itself.
