A salesman told me today that an 8' power rake would over heat my L48 and for that reason recomended the 6ft. I thought I saw many posts with 8' rakes being used with under 30 pto hp? Do you think an 8' would run too slow or over heat my L48?"
My little L3830 HST runs the Pro 8 beautifully as long as the loader is on since the thing is quite heavy. The T-8 would be a snap. I used to run it on my L48 and it did not know it was back there. I think he must be confused, very confused. Rowski has the T-8 on a much smaller tractor, the NH 2120 and he reports no issues running the rake.
I ran my Pro 8 up very steep hills on the L48 and it never got hot or ran slow, no, you would if anything be overheating the rake. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
