Recently purchased a flip down grader blade for my 7' Landpride landscape rake. To get everything set for my primary planned use, a few mods were in order. I mainly got the blade to plow snow with, when the ground is soft, and to plow crushed stone drives. Having the wheels should prevent the blade from digging in,which is what I have done with the front mounted snow plow.

Nice unit!
If you don't mind me asking, what was the total cost?

7' rake with optional wheel kit,and optional grader blade your talking $1175.00,not cheap but I feel worth the price. the blade is new,but the rake I've had for 3 1/2 yrs. In addition to my many home projects, I've done a few contract jobs.

Any reason you couldn't (or shouldn't) attach a "disposable" 2x8 or 2x10 to any rake to act as a rear blade to help clear snow? I've been using the loader and BB on my 2210 for the last 2 years and it works fine, but thinking with the new rake that I could adapt it to help as well, and since it can be angled, that it may be more effective than the box blade. Any ideas and comments welcome.
