On the subject of wheels.....I had always read that many people preferred to add wheels to their landscape rakes. Now, I dont have alot of experience with a rake.....but based on my use yesterday.....I cannot see a need for any wheels on my rake. This thing just followed my tractor along cleaning up nicely in my sandy soils. I also pulled it on my trails and the rake did a nice job of leveling and uniforming the soil.
The wheels help smooth out uneven areas and reduce the up and down as the front tractor wheels go up and down. Just like the mid mount blade on a road grader.
