Backhoe LARGE 3PT BACKHOE NEEDED

I AM LOOKING FOR A LARGE 3PT BACKHOE FOR A CAT III QUICK HITCH. IT WILL BE GOING ON A LARGE DEERE TRACTOR. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD BRAND THAT THEY WOULD RECOMEND OR KNOW OF A GOOD USED ONE???? IF YOU KNOW OF A GOOD BRAND, PLEASE INCLUDE THE WEB ADDRESS IF YOU KNOW IT. THANKS IN ADVANCE

It would be cheaper to buy a backhoe with a few hundred hours on it. It would work better too.

How large? Digging force requirements? There are some that have reach (Long), but not alot of umph. Here's the mfg of many OEMs. I wouldn't want a large *** on a quick hitch. Should have a subframe mount.

I did find that it was cheaper to just buy a used Case 580 E than buy a nice big new 3 pt hitch setup. The only advantage I see to buying a 3 pt hitch setup is that you don't have another tractor to maintain and store. However, you do have another tractor. For me it worked out better to buy the backhoe. I used it for what I wanted and sold it to a neighbor. My experience says go with a good used John Deere, Case, etc. conventional backhoe and I bet the money spent, will be about the same. In addition, you will have a lot more options for your machine use--Ken Sweet
