Guys this is to help a customer decide what he can handle in Hilly conditions and sandy loam soil. I just need some comments to help a brother out.

I had a 74" BH tiller on a L2900.
used on garden and tilled up sod for
flower beds in oven backed clay .
I ran in 1 or 2 gear (GST).

Last year I rented a hefty John Deere 72" tiller and had absolutely no problem.

I'd recommend a 5'. I have an L3710 that's max'd out with a 6'. I also have very heavy soil but do have HST so I can just creep along in 4wd, (I'd be pushed without locking the frontend).
