Looks like you are making good progress with the job. What tractor and box is being used in the second video? The rain will tell the tale, sure shows where more work is needed. +/- 1/4" is pretty close tolerance especially on a ten acre job. Will be very interested in how long this takes you.

My first project is about three acres with 2100 yards to move. Then I have another ranch to work with 19 acres and a total of 3000 yards to move. Most of the dirt on the larger job are short moves.

This is a closer pic of his rig. The blade is a $40,000 rig. It's really nice, but he has hired me to do some small jobs where his rig was too big.

Here is a little video of my rig in action. I made this today with my cell phone so that some of you can see what's going on a little better. Sorry if you can't hear what I'm saying over the tractor noise.

That was very interesting.

That is one complex rig your buddy has. Is that a walking axle in the rear to limit blade travel like a grader? I'm surprised that it doesn't hold more dirt for the scope of machine.

Here is another video with my new time lapse camera from today. I changed the settings a bit to see which settings I like better. Before, it was taking one picture every 1 minute and the video was 10 pictures per second. That makes a short video.

This video is 1 picture every 30 seconds and the video shows 5 pics per second. I think I like this setting better, but it makes a much longer video, which takes longer to upload to youtube.

Today we had all the equipment working because we have 100% chance of rain tonight. You can see my 2 Kubotas. One with my blade and the other with a small plow. And, my friend's bulldozer and his John Deere with his fancy blade.

Almost done with this project. Today, we finished up the prep and seeded it. My daughter was on the tractor and didn't realize she had parked in front of the camera. This time the camera took a picture every 20 seconds.

I put down about 85 lbs/acre of Rivieria Bermuda seed. My cost on the seed was just over $10,000 for 875 lbs.

Tomorrow morning I will go over it with my roller to insure good seed/soil contact. We have about 90% chance of rain for Saturday, so it should get the seed going quickly.

This is interesting.... I downloaded a new app on my iphone to watch my speed while seeding and I was able to save this. It shows where I drove while seeding. It cost me $4.00 for this app

Another video with my new camera.... This is the last step in my part of this project. I rolled it to provide good seed/soil contact. We have a 90% chance of rain tonight, so the seed should get going quickly

One last video from my new camera. This is deep tine aeration on a high school practice football field.

I showed this to my 2 year old grandaughter and she said "Gramps, the clouds are going away"
