This CL ad will likely be gone in a few minutes

But it illustrates the points we've all been making above.
Price unreasonable.
Architecture of that barn unlike anything I've ever seen here.
Too green. The area near a barn will generally be dry, scorched, dusty here in late summer since it hasn't rained for 90 days.
Contact is an email showing in the ad.

I Googled on the contact email listed and found listings selling all sorts of (non existent) stuff all over the country.

Most interesting that email was also found in a list you can buy from another scammer who offers a list of suckers you can scam.

Ya sure. Hopefully rebtayl will get lots of spam from being on that sucker list.

Wouldn't be ironic if that sucker list was created by automated harvesting of emails shown in CL ads!

About a week ago I found a nice Kubota L5740 that I was interested in. The add looked legit and was in New Orleans which is only about 150 miles from me.
It was a 2010 model with only 130 hours. It was priced at $27,000 which is a little low, but not stupid low.

I emailed the seller on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and finally got a response this past Thursday. It asked for my email so they could send me more pics. I fell for it and sent my email address. Well, earlier today, this is the response I got:

Simple to operate yet amazingly powerful, this solid tractor is in very good shape and everything works as intended (as you can see in the pictures I have attached). The engine fires right up, runs well and does not smoke. The transmission works well and shifts smoothly.
Owner manuals are available. Clean and clear title, no liens (ready for a quick sale).

The tractor can be seen at the local ADC warehouse. We are selling it through them because we already purchased a different one and we don't have enough space to keep the both. This is also the only reason for selling it. If you are familiar with ADC then you may know what I mean, if not I'll be happy to walk you through it.

There were no pics attached. I googled ADC Warehouse and the only location I could find was in Cleveland....Not New Orleans.
I also googled part of her email (desertregional.org) which is a hospital in California.

Then I used one of those Craiglist search tools and found the same ad in Miami Florida. I flagged both the one in New Orleans and Miami and I replied to 'Karen White' that I was no longer interested in the item for sale.
