Yep, sometimes it's our perspective.
Here in south Texas, we're hip deep in illegal and legal aliens. They are having to be educated, fed, clothed, medicated, transported, insured, etc., etc. by us.
Their families across the border expect them to be protected by us also.
Even though they are out of our hands for the most part, it is still our responsibility provide what help we can, however we can.
In my heart, I know they should be working to better their own country and make it something to be proud of, where people die trying to get there.
But, those that do make the trek here deserve to not be ignored, mistreated and exploited.
