I talked to Terry. He said best bet is to pull the wheel motor off and send it to them to rebuild, should run around $120. I new wheel motor would run around $500. He said I could probably install the seal kit myself, but they have the means to pressure test it afterwards.
I took it to a local Briggs and Stratton repair shop that also rents and repairs Toro Dingo's (ie. they were quite familiar with a very mechanically similar piece of equipment). Even with that, I still think I financed some of their Power-trac education. I think I'll take the route that I know will work: shipping it to PT for a rebuild!
