So I got to play on my new ride. After a couple of hours I gave her a look over and noticed one hose on the loader appeared to be leaking. It felt tight though. How torqued should these fittings be? Is there a way to better locate the leak?
Of more concern was what I thought was a fair amount of fluid which appeared to be coming from the Hoe's control levers. Is this normal or expected?

Thanks Dan

This is not normal. On a new machine you should have no leaks. I had a leak on a metal connector of my Fel line on a new Kubota B2410. This was a slow drip. I had no luck trying to tighten it. I called the dealer who promptly repaired it under warranty with no charge. I would let your dealer take care of the problem.

I would say that they didn't get them on tight enough. Did you put a wrench on the hose that you said looked to be tight enough?

Yes I did put a wrench on it and it felt tight but I have not run it since. I did not torque it.
There is definately more coming from the hoe control. I think I need to call my dealer. Isn't that what warrenties are for?

Your dealer should take care of it for you. If it is real simple, sometimes it is just easier to do yourself. That is if it's only to tighten up a fitting a little. They can be over tightened and broke, so it would be better is the dealer did that. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
