Attached a few pics of ice on headlamp, kind of hard to see but the HID headlamps are the low beams which are on in the pics. I drove for about 45 minutes in the ice storm with the low beams on and activated the high beams for approximately 5 minutes before I pulled into the garage. You can also hold your hand in front of the beams and feel the difference. The beam pods are both projector type and both are the same distance from the lens.
