The light bar won't work for my application, but I was wondering how many lumens and what it's beam spread was?

I am surely underutilizing my tractors. I have had my B26 for 2 years and a week or so ago I turned on all the lights for the first time to see how /if they all worked. I haven't turned on the lights on my LS since I got it and was trying to figure out how everything worked. What I don't get done before sundown, I will get to the next day,or next week or whenever I feel like it. Retirement is just that way. I try to do something every day just to stay active, but usually not more than 4-5 hours of work at most, the rest can be done the next day in most cases.

The lightbar is around 2800lumens and is spot/flood combo double row.

I'm trying to replace the existing rectangular work lights on a skid steer. The lights are mounted in a corner of the cage so I can't use a light bar. Want something that will give a nice even light, but I don't need to reach out very far. Suggestions?

We have the cube lights.

They are a driving style beam. They are pretty bright, but wont reach out 500ft or anything. Not sure how far is "very far" LOL :)

Here are some pics? They are $99 a pair shipped with wiring :)

Sorry. Looking for a 50' range with a very wide pattern. Like 130 degrees. The skid steer spins in its footprint, so I need to see what is to the side of me more than what is 100' ahead. A driving light will reach out too far. I think you pictured the Rigid "D" series light. If so, the diffused one would work.

You can defuse the light some by pointing them to different spots where the ones in the photos were focused to the same location (hope that helps explain it some).

Okay guys. Here is a question for those of you who have put LEDs on your ROPS. And VE have vawys to make you talk... The first of which is to just ask nicely, so here goes: I have been thinking on doing the same thing but, my use would probably be more in summer at night for garden work and moving hay bales. With the light shining from above and behind you, does it make seeing any more difficult then if they were mounted out ahead of you? Also, I would imaging you would have bugs in your face alot with the lights above and behind you?

I was out tonight after dark trying to get peppers in the ground before the rain and the OEM tractor lights do not work well unless you run with the bucket way up. Thanks for your insight.

Mine are located on the Rops on the uprights so that I don't scrap them off on low branches and that location does somewhat affect my peripheral sight. Nothing horrble, but enough that when I install my canopy I am going to move them to the forward edge of my canopy.

Also, I would imaging you would have bugs in your face alot with the lights above and behind you?

For me only certain times of year and even then it's not every time. I would imagine that's more impacted by where you live and and the resident but population.

i haven't tried them yet but a friend has. He claims that bugs are not attracted to the LEDs. Don't make since to me but he swears bugs don't bother him.
