I work in Aviation and we use Clickbond fasteners often. So I can tell you they are a great product
Let me know if you have any questions... I did this install for myself and was encouraged by others to post. The products I used are made primarily for Aerospace and Naval applications but I thought I would use them for my tractor. I have used them on RVs, boats, my truck and love it for mods and improvements. I just wanted to share some cool stuff. Feel free to PM me if you prefer. This MAY have just solved my LED light install quandary. Let me give it some though. Thanks for the post.
Fantastic thread!So... here is how I mounted the lights...
Location was definitely considered. I wanted the lights to be as high up as possible but also needed them protected by the ROPS. I have a lot of trees and branches that would catch on them if I went on top or the outsides so I mounted them underneath. Now the novel part... I used Click Bond fasteners (disclaimer here... I work for the company). Actually I used several types of CB parts throughout the project but these in particular are stainless steel studs adhesively bonded to the ROPS. I am going to go into a little detail here because there are a few simple but important steps if you go this way. Pics coming very shortly... if anyone really wants to see another lighting mod that is!
Fantastic thread!
Could you list the CB parts you used, by part number?
Sorry, hectic holiday parties, etc. I PM'd you. I appreciate the comments. Didn't do this to market the product as much as just show the gang here a cool way to do this. Not cheap but definitely aerospace/naval grade product and practice. FYI.. ElectricalHub.com is an authorized Click Bond supplier.dragoneggs???
