Off topic a bit, but I actually saw something similar, but considerably more pitiful. I attended an air show in OKC many years ago. Apparently, there was a group there from either a nursing home, or an assisted living home, and they had placed about a half dozen wheel chair bound individuals just behind the fence on the edge of the taxi way. Some guy in a Korean War vintage Panther jet did a turn around just in front of them; I looked over, and saw the blankets flying, along with the wheel chairs and patients. There was a huge scramble, a lengthy, circumspect inspection of both people and wheel chairs, but no one carried out or given a ride in an ambulance. A miracle no one was seriously hurt.

I was impressed how quickly I found that clip. Also, it wasn't as funny as I had remembered, and I too thought it must have been a take off.

When the weather channel first came out it was all about the weather I could get my forecast and a brief overview in 10 to 15 minutes when they went away from that I quit watching

Exactly. I quit watching years ago. I liked just weather. I think the change was when the founder left.
There's always a certain few who can't join any discussion without turning it into "us against them." Rather than penalize the rest of us, those offenders should be limited to "Friendly Politics" until they learn to play fairly.
