Hi Ron,
I too, had a problem with my back blade "digging in". Had a local welding shop in Petoskey plasma cut a slot in a 2" pipe, weld flat washer on each end, and also weld a couple short lengths of chain near each end. I slip the pipe on the bottom of the blade and use a tarp strap across the frame to the two chains to hold it in position. Works like a champ.

I too would much appreciate seeing a picture of this rig. I'm tired of plowing the gravel off my driveway. I'm interested in any ways to reduce the "digging in".

Here is a picture of my snow removal outfit. Only got to use it once this winter. I'm 60 miles south of you and 30 miles south of Ron.
Seroius power for serious snowfall. Problem is, no snow. I think this summer I am going to scrounge around for an old Meyers or Western snowplow and subframe and mount it to a QD plate so I can put a snow plow on the FEL. That way, I can make a pass down the road and 2 passes with the blower and the road is done. I live about 2 miles from the pavement that the Road Commission sometimes plows. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ditto on that!!!!....Finally came back home to the ole' farm here in Appomattox, Va. after spending time up in the rat race area of Metro Washington D.C. on business. Sure was great to fire up the trusty BX 2200 this morning and play in the snow clearing the drive with my trusty buddy "KOTY" (family dog) keeping me company....this is life!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
