I have a couple of Schrade "Old Timer" pocketknives I've had for years. Both are stamped N.Y. USA. One is 2-blade the other is a 3-blade. I use the 3-blade for opening Amazon packages, so it resides on my office desktop. It gets a lot of use. ;) I think the 2-blade is out in my machinist toolbox. I still have my Cub Scout pocketknife from about 1957. I used that throughout my Boy Scout and Explorer years. I have a few others but none worth mentioning.

These are the two Benchmade knifes I carry one of them everyday. The one was a engraved gift from my wife, the plain blade one. She got it for me when I thought I lost the other one. About a month later we found it so now I have two.

My dad always carried a old timer 3 blade. He gave me mine when I was about ten. I have 3 of them in the safe, two to them were his. My mom bought a extra for him so he would alway have one if the other broke and had to send it for warranty. One of them is the one he had on him when he passed away.

I pry have about 40 other knives, have always enjoyed collecting knives.

That reminded me that I had a knife like that (no ********) once years and years ago. Had completely forgotten about it. Can’t remember what happened to it either.
Same thing,I had one too, don't know where it went. It was a cool knife, interesting design.

IMO for the money this is the best 7" blade combat utility knife on the new market today. It's a Utica UKC6 model . You have to shop around. Comes with a semi kydex type sheath , a furrel rod and striker , made in the USA in Utica NY . Been around a long time only mostly die hards have heard of this American company. Sheath even brings a heavy string on bottom to tie around your leg . No one asked but paid $54 -even for mine delivered to house from "AMZN" . Excellent value !

Looks like a strong, sturdy knife.
Pics dont do it justice . Knife looks skinny , smaller in the pic's . Really good knife for the bucks . Also forgot to mention in my post the handle is micarta . Sheath has a built in blade sharpener , as does the Gerber II infantry / chopper pilot knives .
