Let's see your Kubota

My 7-year old is learning to drive the B7300; I set the throttle low and put it in low range. It goes no faster than a walking pace and I keep him on the flat. He's doing really well so far; I'm a proud dad.

Re: Let's see your Kubota (Finally back together)

This was less than 1/2 hour of work, taking my time.
I was going to use my excavator, but it would not start. Besides, I really wanted to see what my overhaul achieved.
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...5344-upsized-hydraulic-clyinders-loaders.html
I dug out the roots, and just pushed the 14-15" tree over.
I was in 2WD pushing and prying the stump out, Chains really help.

Not to highjack the thread but I have to embellish a little - the Beavers are brutes of a machine - built by a tool manufacture owner (US Baird Company Stratford CT) who needed a small framed tractor to get into some of his not so accessible fields. As with most of what Baird did for the tooling industry they over build the "Beaver" in ever way. My grandfather bought this for his farm in the 40's and I just finished restoring her a couple of years ago. Wisconsin AKN (6.2 HP). Sits all winter long and with one pull she turns over and purrs like a kitten. Just a blast to ride!

You talk about BASIC. Rope start, I love it! Nice job.

Nice Tractor . With the short 3 point lift arms I cant figure out how to do a clean install of a ballast with any significant weight without completely blocking the ability to hook up my little subsoiler .

The little homemade subsoiler/Ripper/Plow I made worked better than I expected in NH rocky soil. Plenty of traction & down force with the counter weight. Note plate attached to drawbar uses snowthrower shear bolts.

Mike, do you have a build thread or some more pictures of that setup? Thanks

I thought of marketing this, but it was such a pain and expensive to do it, I'd have to move to China.

If you add a basket, it wants to be a Quick attach or a Wire Basket that you can see through. Other than that my contraption works great. I drop the counterweight, and hook up my rotary cutter.
Besides PTO work, the CW stays on the back, so the tractor weighs +3,000 lbs.

PS
This one will be easy.

This was expensive too!

Those are great little tractors, my NAA didn't get much use after I bought mine in 2003.

So many great looking machines posted here. I can't claim ownership of this machine but Im the sole operator and treat it like it was my own. Its a 2016 L6060 with around 510 hours.

Re: Let's see your Kubota, Stump dumpiming

I took the stump way in the woods to get rid of it dumping it in a ravine, knocking down any small trees and moving rocks in my path.
Sure helps having two tractors to get the stump in the bucket. A chain would have worked also.
