I've posted these before but since you're asking, here they are again.
It's always fun to share these pictures and some stories that go with them.
I have 2 tool boxes.
One bolted on the left rear fender where I keep pliers, screw drivers, sockets and wrenches. Next to that is a little plastic box held on by velcro for lynch pins, fuses, cotter pins and small stuff. Then on the right rear fender I made a big wooden box where I keep a hatched, 2 sets of tow chains and some big stuff like big channel lock pliers and extra hitch pins etc.
I didn't stop there though.
I also needed to carry a shovel and breaker bar or prybar. Even the farm jack for when I am way back in the woods for who know what? So I added pipe clamps bolted to the ROPS to hold some of those longer things. You can see I added 2 fire extinguishers on each fel mount along with a rifle scabbard for just in case.
My camp was far away from where I use the tractor and my property is wild. So when I was cutting in new roads and trails the tools came in handy. I made several repairs in the field with the tools. I had a broken tie rod end that I repaired out there, a busted hydraulic hose, loose wheel studs, lost hitch and lynch pins, reset implements, etc. I've shot rattlers when hooking chains around shrubs to pull. Some broken things I was able to take off, walk back to camp with the part for repair, and reinstall in the field. This is a lot better than walking to get your tools first and then back and doing the repair. lol, then you have to return them again. Mine I throw back into the box for the next round. Oh, and don't forget the cup holders, ashtray, thermos holder and pouch for personals.
