I have spent considerable time crawling around the mower measuring the right vs. left blade height both parallel to the line of travel and to the axle and at various height adjustment settings. I have alwys noticed "streaks" in my bermuda lawn. I thought I was perhaps mowing too low. I raised my adjustment to 3" and still got the streaks. After checking I determined my right blade was lower than the left parallel to the line of travel. The mower owners manual says to adjust this, we are suppose to rely on the right (discharge side only). Well that was not the case. The left was higher. So I made the adjustment. Now when I measure the blades parallel to the line of travel and to the axle, my blades are within tolerable measurement. However, /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, the right front antiscalp wheel is lower that the rest. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I can set all the rest of the rollers on the same setting, have the same clearance for the remaining 3, but the right front has to be "up" one hole! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Again the blades (which is what really matters) are level. Yes I have interchanged the rollers to see if there was some sort of wear or something else going on, but it is still the same. The Bota is mowing perfectly /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, but the setting for the right front anti-scalp roller has me wondering. By the way, it is a real treat measuring these blades on a setting of "2" /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. You can sure sign me confused in SW Arkansas. GO HOGS!!!
