Knocked the warning flags down but missed electric lines.

Is this a new or previous easement for the pipeline? And a new pipeline, or an upgrade?

They are supposed to put fences back. But since we don’t have cows now, who knows if they will.
To the north, line will go down a steep hill. Pipeline company supposed to maintain their ROW.
Cows or not. I'd try to insist they put the fences back. (personal/farm expense for
you later if they don't)

Fences aren't cheap and if done right.....time consuming.

Dad’s fences were cheap. 😂
The water line cut thru 2 line fences I definitely want put back.
Well Pipeline went thru 2 areas that had fences at some point, not sure what shape they were in, or if still standing. Then they tore out some fence in access areas. Contract says they have to put back. But when I walked the surveyed route before they started, I was surprised how bad the fences had become already.

We have been over 5 years in cell site negotiation which pandemic side tracked…

Company says very much want to make it happen but how can it take 5 years and counting…?

Both the these companies wanted it to happen, and we got pretty much what we asked for. There was some pushback at first from the oil pipeline, but I told them to go around us and didn't cave. It would have been very hard for them to go around.

I wish we had asked for more up front.
In hind site, I would have asked for them to throw in a tracked skid steer as part of the deal, or one of their excavators. 😂

The water line is far less obtrusive, my biggest demand there is not to cut any trees, and as far as I know, they didn't, unless it was something small they cut with their skid steer. We gave them access to a more favorable route to travel across our farm, and they ended up giving us more money just for that. They shortened the route of their pipeline, but paid us for the original longer route. In the scope of money they are dealing with, the extra money was nothing. When they were cutting thru multiflora roses to make a path, my brother told them to cut as much of them as they wanted.

This picture is south of our farm, and was my Great, and Great Great Grandparents farm, and their former house is 1/3 of the way from the right of the picture.. A house hidden behind the pine in the right center was built by my Great Uncle. Growing up, these were about the only houses up the road.
the temp water line is over on the left that comes across our farm.
The oil pipeline is being welded here. In the very far upper left is the well pad the oil pipeline is going to, but it makes a big circle around another pad that the water line is going to.

next pic is below the first pic, and has our property line at the bottom. The driveway to the left and one to furthest right were not there up till about 10 yrs ago. they have not dug thru the neighbors pasture yet, he does have cows in there.

Pipeline goes thru the background field in this picture from the 1940's. This is when the road was extended to my Great Uncles house.
