Looks like a busy day. What do your forks weigh?

sorry it took me so long. i don't know i would guess 250 lbs all in.

the baby and i have been cutting some grass, she even has her own little tiny ear muffs

no pics, but my in laws visited and i had saved up some tractoring jobs for my father in law. i'm trying to convince him he needs a tractor to maintain his cabin property and 120 acres of hunting land in NW . so he cut the grass and only mowed over one river birch that was planted. he also hauled some mulch for the flower beds, and pulled out 2 yews near the front door that my wife didn't like. he enjoyed his time, but still says he can't justify a tractor.

i work for a catering and rental company part time in the summer. the owner sometimes has a hard time finding bodies, but i have a tractor available and it can do the work of 4-6 guys and it doesn't whine either. today was quite helpful wince the box truck was parked fairly far from the tent site so we bought the dance floor 1000 lbs, 9 stacks of chairs @ 300 lbs a piece the 4 tent bags ~300 lbs each over with the tractor and then set the center poles with it. used to have to use man power to pull them up no more. granted this was only a 40' wide tent, next Thurs will be the 60' wide and it's much heavier. though last year we used dad's bx on a 60' and it worked, but it couldn't lift the poles just push them, barely

Looks like a good day! I’m looking for
Forks for my B2650 also. I need some lightweight ones also. 250lbs seems good.
Some 4000lb skid steer ones are pushing 500lbs.

When I ordered my factory rear remote kit on my B2601 I noticed that the B2650 valves had the same part number and mount the same way on the right side transaxle with the levers coming up through the right fender.

When I installed my rear remote kit on my B2601 there was a new insert to replace the holder that comes on the tractor. The 12 volt accessory outlet switches to the new part that has the slots for the remote levers. It may not be apparent at first that levers come up through the fender.

however where the factory mounts the levers is in a very diffacult position to reach even with the seat pushed all the way back.

haven't update this in a while. i've been mowing, used it to move a gun safe and my reloading bench, and using it to set up tents. built a stake puller for the forks, don't have pics of it. picked up a 48" single lid grapple to use tues at auction. and soon will be doing to 50hr service

here is the grapple on my bigger tractor

Is that a mtl grapple? Or built from the same place in Alabama/georgia?
I was looking at getting one. I was going to go with the 60” model because I want the dual opening. But it’s pushing 500lbs.
I like the EA ones but they don’t have the flat bottom and are out of my price range.

i have no idea who the manufacturer is, but they are pretty much all built the same. i'm guessing this is between 3 and 400 lbs at auction i bought it for 650 plus 10% fee and 6% tax. then $18 for new fittings

brought the grapple home and used it for the first time. cleaned up some fallen trees (from the last storm) on the lane to the community dock and then took a leader from a neighbor's bradford pear to his woods. it also fell during the last storm. stupid trees. anyway i took some photos and then deleted them before i downloaded them

put up a tent Sunday, cut grass Sunday, took down tent Wednesday. Stake puller for the forks worked well, though I need a bit more practice.

Then I took the tractor to the shop to do the 50 hr service. ordered all the parts for the dealer where i bought it ~55 miles away Monday, salesman dropped them off Tues (he live one town south and used to work at the local Kubota dealer that is no more). I did not check the box silly me. Changing the oil was easy and quick though the lower rad hose sits on the oil filter making it a bit of a PITA to use a filter wrench. Had to look at the owners manual twice to find the drain plug for the hydraulic system, it's part of the mid PTO housing. took off the filter hydraulic and HST went to put new ones on. I was missing the hydraulic filter. Called Napa yes we have one. Picked it up looked different oh well, put it on doesn't fit. Didn't want to have to drive to the dealer to get one or wait 2 days to have it delivered. So I call the old dealer that had it's Kubota Franchise taken away. Yes they still had some parts including three of the correct filter. Got it done though I spent 90 minutes or more chasing this one filter. No I don't have any pics forgot my camera
