Lift arms won't raise and lower with lever

Just like the title says, move the lever, nothing. If I reach back and move the little...doodad that the lever moves, it will lift but won't stay up. If I crank the valve under the seat down while I have the arms lifted, they will stay.
Any ideas?

If you are on Tapatalk and can't see my info, this is a 3215 gear model.
It seems when I turn the flow control knob something feels "funny". I reckon I'll start there.

Kinda hard to figure out what you're talking about with dodads n such. Are you taking about your 3 point hitch?

Yes, the lift arms.
The "doodad" is officially called something else. It isn't the lever that you move, but the lever moves this thing, which moves things inside the housing.

Well you got the problem figured out... why is the lever not moving the doodad... roll pin? broke connection? find were the connection is lost and fix it

It is moving it.

Looks like a pin missing so the lever is essentially disconnected from the works. Simple mechanics really.
