Lifting a 85" TV over Fireplace

Friends of ours had their TV above their fireplace. Every time we watched a movie at their house I would leave with a stiff neck. My wife and I would comment to each other on the way home each time. After a few episodes of that we opted for board games or cards and the kids watched cartoons.

The seating arrangement was as much to blame as the TV placement I guess.

Our 70” is five feet off the ground, sitting 15’ away seems perfect to me. I’d have a couple daughters lift it.

It looks nice but it needs to go a quarter inch to the left.
