I was wondering if anybody could lead me in the right direction..I have a Kubota BX 2200..When I turn on the lights it keeps blowing the 15 amp acc fuse..Everything is fine until I turn on the lights..What should I check first? Thanks in advance...

Asssuming the lights are wired in series like everyone else does do save money which is nuts anyway:

Find the hot lead from the lamps to thew switch and look for any nicks or bite marks or rubbing on steel.

===============================================
(do this first to save a lot of time)

Pull the bulbs out and see if one or both are blown out as this would or could short the fuse possibly-check for water condensation in the bulb reflectors as they are sealed now I believe.

Look for the ground leads and see if they are intact.

Use an alligator clip test wire and clip it to the hot lead in wire or wires to locate the point where the hot wire quits when the fuse is blown.

1. when the power is on pop the fuse and check for the 12 volt dc in the fuse holder.

2.if you have power work your way forward.

3. examine the fuse closely-is it burned or not? you may have a hairline crack in the fuse which when warm breaks the contact.

4. is the rear of the fuse block exposed?

a. look for frayed wiring behind the block if possible to examine it there.

b. follow the hot lead or leads to the hood where the lights are.

c if the wire is in a protective tube look for a junction or a pinch point at the bottom of the hood where the hot lead attaches tot he hood for the lights.

d. examine each bulb for corroision and shorted elements.

e. is it possible you have water in the bulb reflector from condensation and do not know it? these new bulbs dont tolerate much let alone moisture of any kind.

Look at the fuse block and pull the fuses one at a time and vacuum the block to remove any dust or grass.

Inspect the wiring around the fuse block if possible and the the wire runs to the front lights to see if any exposed wiring has worn insulation that may be rubbing on steel.

It sounds like you have a few possibilities:

a. a shorted/broken hot lead with grounding or a bad hot terminal
b a broken hot wire to first light bulb
c. a bad light switch which is grounding and the contacts have shorted out.
