Lighting

Well, I live not too far from Williamsburg and everyone knows that mosquitos are the real reason the first attempts at colonization in these parts were unsuccessful.

Last summer, I was awakened in the middle of the night by voices, and after my eyes adjusted I could see two huge mosquitos sitting one on each end of the headboard. One of them said to the other: "Well, let's decide - should we eat him here or take him with us?" To which the other replied: "We'd better eat him here - if we take him home the big ones are liable to take him away from us."

Here in Vt. they often grow big enough to stand flat footed and s**t in a dump truck.

They say that the state sprays for em' here, but I'm beggining to think it's "SKEETER GROW" maybe they figure it's cheaper to let the Skeeters to carrie off the stray dogs -n- cats.If we could only catch a few and teach em' to after cyotes.Ah well I guess its's time to start toten my Loiuville slugger their still easy targets before they get bigger than softballs...../w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
For those that need a dupm truck! I hope ya'll put the cows in at night.../w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Or your gonna have some awfully thin ones come sun up.
cute Mark.../w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif unfortunatly Bird repelant only seems to work marginally here at best../w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif regardless of brand....I have had some success with OFF SKINTASTIC it smell an awfull lot like the Avon Skin so soft...and works ok unless you sweat a lot and it thinns ut on ya..Basically after the sun go's down you either stay in doors or plan to lose a few pounds when they get real bad/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Mark,

Finally got around to calling my dealer about the rear light. The rear lights that he stocks are $24.95 (for one) and have their own power button. They are floods and not traps like I thought. He recommends floods for rear blade work especially.? And sorry, but I forgot to ask what color they are. My dealer is 35 miles away in my home town, if I have my dad go pick me up a light I can give you more detail.

Hope this helps /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif, JimBinMI

JimBinMI - Bummer, I'm definitely interested in traps.

Thanks for checking for me, though.

Thats a great idea, I swapped round my headlights & worklights 4 loader work. It means i dont have to drive on the roads mith my loader in the air! The worklights also give a better shine around the immediate frontal area,

I did that 2, I take it u were replyin 2 matty, I have also placed 4 extra (2 back, 2 front) worklights on my Tn75d, has anyone placed xtra lights next to standerd lights. I made these adjustable so they can shine towards my larger implements better, such as my hedge trimmer

I know I'm going way back for this post but it was one of the few in the NH group to talk about this.
I just got a TC35d and would like to add 2 flood lights to the ROPS in the 55watt size. Looking at the wiring specs in the OM the exsisting fuses are pretty well covered. So I was thinking of adding a new 15a fuse after the main 40a fuse. Adding a rocker switch to one of the empty switch locations on the dash. Has anyone gone and done this already?
Or has everyone just tapped into the exsisting wiring?
Unfortunately, I don't think the NH have a live wire under the seat like the Kubota's have.
thanks

Re: Lighting (DANGER!)

Be VERY careful with these ideas!

I first put rear-lightening on my tractor. And I started forest-fires everywhere I went!
So I put front-lightening on, and ended-up killing several people on the golf-course!

So I took it ALL off!!

That stuff is DANGEROUS!

Forgot to add:

And the NOISE! Good Lord,.. the NOISE!

Forget about ear-plugs,... it shook the whole tractor!! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
