RadarTech: Thanks very much. I am going to contact the stable grid place and get a quote for their product. I am sure it will not be cheap, but if it stops the mud, it will be worth it.

Also, I will be on the alert for the mud problems. I had no idea it could be so destructive. But, it does not surprise me.

Bob

your welcome..

if you could, please drop us a line with the price....

It would be interesting if it works as well as advertised....

This little trick is not for a mud hole in your yard. The lime they are recommending in that article will kill grass and basically make the surface rock hard. Aglime will NOT do the same thing. High cal aglime will work to open the soil up and allow the water to go deeper. Several years worth of applications and you can improve how fast a spot like that dries out, but it will not dry the spot up so that you can do something like run stuff over it. Type N and Type S are actually and technically cement. Put cement down in the mud and it will set up just like the guy in Texas had in the parking lot, and that is what you will have something as hard as a parking lot. If you need a parking lot in your yard go ahead, but if you want to grow grass, I can guarantee you will not grow anything in that spot any more ever again.
