how can i help as i find these situations, if that is possible without causing any problems?

I'll ask the same question.
I can find the post number by right clicking on the link. Then clicking on properties.
How can I go to the post if I know it's number?

If a post redirects to the main index...

1) Copy link URL to clipboard.
2) Paste in address bar.
3) Where you see http://www.tractorbynet.com/cgi-bin/compact/showflat.pl

replace with

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/showflat.php

The rest stays the same.
