The first motorcycle I ever tried to ride, was a 1950's something Indian Tomahawk, single cylinder, foot crank. I got on it a couple of times, it always left me stranded somewhere in traffic, and I had to push it. After about breaking my ankle getting it started, enough was enough.A friend of mine was talking about how difficult his old 441 BSA single was to kick start a while back.
On a cold morning I use to put a couple pieces of charcoal in a pan and slide it under my Triumph.
Years later, friend came by with a new Honda 750cc. I got on it, goosed it and it scared the crap out of me. Turned it around in the middle of the road, took it home, and said "Thanks but no thanks".
