Well, in full disclosure, I once owned a mini van

In my full disclosure - I did not include my wife’s cars which for at least 15 years included a few mini vans!

Tried to make list in bullet form , didnt work so deleted.....will say my best vehicle was a 1992 Black 2 door Jeep Cherokee, straight 6 cyl , 4wd , std trannie , crossed all of Canada from Atlantic to Pacific with family . Sold it after ten years still running with 100,000 miles

It was a lot of fun. Remarkably tractable for a GP replica but with pipes and porting that could be changed. But it was geared high for road racing. On my local twisties I'd hardly ever get out of 3rd gear and a lot of riding was done in 2nd. After a while I decided the RZ350s were better for me, then I got into trials competition (TY, Betas, Scorpa, Montesa). I really should have bought my friend's Aprilia RS250 when he was selling it. That was a really sweet bike.

Ooh a Rokon. I always wanted one of those. And a Husky Automatic from the same era. I like the weird stuff, which is why I had Maicos. In fact my wife still calls any unusual vehicle I evoke an interest in (i.e. Saab two stroke) a "Maico".

I used to race against Husky Automatics all the time. They were great bikes too. I went from a "c" level enduro rider to a "b" level just by switching to the Rokon. It was nice to start the motorcycle (with a pull rope) at the start of the ride and never worry about killing the engine on the trail, even if you crash. It would beat any bike of any displacement in a drag race in its time, and was fantastic at hill climbs. It wasn't so great on down hills with no engine compression braking, but the disc brakes (years ahead of it time) helped. It took some getting used to. In a drag race the engine would go to 3600 rpm (it's max torque rpm) and just stay right, never changing, there while the snowmobile transmission seamlessly increased its ratio as you gained speed quickly.
Mine is setting in the barn in near perfect mechanical condition. Haven't started it in about 10 years.
