They're wore, perhaps more than I realize. I'll sharpen see how well that works. Perhaps get a new set, will need them eventually, if not now, so i can see just how worn they are.

If this keeps happening with new blades, try adjusting the deck according to the manual. I was shocked to find that the little 1/4" forward tilt that they ask for on the deck adjustment made the machine cut like brand new. I had forgotten how perfect it cut when new.

Good point. That's controlled by those bushings and washer that I mentioned where wore. I well check that.

Remove each blade and lay it flat on a table. Then do the same with the others. You should be able to tell by looking at each if any part of the blade is bent or twisted. Also stack each on top of the other and see if any corners are not touching the blade below or above. Finally, if sharpening the blades use the balancing tool to determine if any blade is out of balance.
