Liver biopsy

as we get older we seem to catch a lot of bugs on the windshield of life .what ever the outcome I hope it works out well.

I am going in this morning for a liver biopsy to see if some spots are cancer. I have been healthy for a little over a year now, I wasn't ready for something like this all ready. Keep me in your prayers if you would. One positive thing is my blood work looked all ok, so I am hopeful that everything will be ok.

I'm sorry for those that are ill, but remember many do very well with treatment.

We are knocking on wood as I type this. I'm 65 and healthy except for allergies and minor aches and pains, arthritus, and hubby will be 65 in August and is in better health then me. I sure hope we can stay that way.

Today he just took a friend to deliver his travel trailer and sell it. His health is so bad he couldn't do it. They hadn't had it to long and neither can use it. You hate to hear things like that.

May we all stay well or get well.

Thanks for all the prayers. I have been asleep most of the day. I won't have any results from the biopsy until next week but the Dr. told my wife I could rest easy everything looked good and I could come back in 5 years and do it again.

deere755, add me to the long list of people wishing the very best for you. I had a bit of a run in with a cancerous kidney a couple of years ago, so i can sympathize with your situation. (I'm still doing the six month check up routine on the lookout for any new cancers but so far so good.) The waiting and uncertainty is definitely wearing, eh?
