Liver biopsy

Does that mean the Dr. has an oral result from the lab and you are just waiting for the formal written report? If so, that is awesome. Sleep well and as long as you need to get over this stressful event.:thumbsup:

He told my wife what he saw didnt look like cancer and that he was 99% sure they wouldn't find anything in the lab. He told her that after 20 some years of practice he could pretty well tell from looking if it was or not.

The results came back from the lab today. The Dr. says he wants to see me in 2 years for another biopsy. He 1st said 5 years so I figure they found something in the lab that concerned them.

Not sure if 2 years would indicate a concern...Don't read things into the diagnosis, could just be caution. Say a prayer of thanks and congrats...The sun is coming up in the morning, watch it and enjoy. Life is for living, not worrying.......I'm very happy for you!!!!

I would take this as a good report. If you are concerned about the 5 year to 2 year statement change just ask the doc why he changed his statement. It probably is nothing. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

My wife had a bad cancer over 35 years ago took 7years to get rid of it. We still go back every year to get her checked out! For a long time (years) after ever little thing would make us worry and wonder if it was back or not! It did not come back. Will keep you in our thoughts! :thumbsup:
