My mother made liver and onions, but she's an Irish cook. Set the pan on medium and let it the liver cook for about an hour. Don't even flip it, just let it ooze. Onions in a separate pan. No milk soak, flour or seasoning of any kind. God it was awful.
You should see what my parents do to steak. Should be a crime.
