I'd look for a good, used Unimog with a snow blower.

Schism ,

That is funny because I just told the wife I want to sell my Rhino and get a Japanese mini truck. They are awesome.

I looks like there is a couple of trailers up by your house, they don't help? I had to zoom out in the photo to see where your road ties in. That is a long way.

No, there is only one trailer and that is just my dads hunting cabin. No one actually lives up there but me. The other thing that looks like a trailer is a shed.

Looks pretty clear in the picture! ;)

I'm glad I only have to deal with my couple hundred feet. I don't much like snow.

I don't know how old you are but think about doing that when you hit about 50 or 60! I finally threw in the towel and moved a bit south after spending upward of twelve hours opening up my 1500' driveway in Schuylkill County, PA.

Of course, some of that time was due to inadequate eguipment. Go figure, I had an old single axle dump with a ten foot plow for a few years during which we had nothing. More trouble than it was worth to keep running, I sold it and then, well you know...

The locals tell me that this is one of the worst winters in years. Collectively, we have had about 21" of snow. I even decided to push the driveway off one time, lol!

Guess I would move south but Mexico does not seem to interest me. Seems like they don'e get snow down there, lol!

My Uncle lived out in the sticks by Mt Shasta for about 20 years. He had about 3 miles he plowed to the main road. His workhorse was a 41 GMC deuce and a half with an 8' snowblower on it. Had a dump bed on the back. He could really move some snow... :D He had a plow for it too.

I usually love snow but this year I am toltally sick of it. My driveway is VERY long and I am sick of spending every single off hour I have blowing snow.

Wow, 2.5 miles! Aye carumba. That really could become a hardship. Looks like a nice place though. Keep positive, spring is around the corner.

What do you figure it costs per year to maintain that road if you don't mind me asking?
