Does anyone own the JD brand quicktach forks? What other brands are available? I went to the dealer,he had Horst brand forks but they really didn't impress me much. Also what if any bucket options are out there. I currently have a material bucket and I wanted to get an HD model. The dealer said he'd have to order one and it was like $700.00. Is that right? Seems kind of high to me. I have a 300x loader so it has quicktach. Are there other companies out there that sell loader attachments to the public?

Pony, I have found the best dealer in the area to be DL. Marvin. They're in Colchester I believe. Lots of inventory and great sales dept. Their prices are right there also. It is a good 45 min drive for me to them but my local dealer ( Stanton Equipment ) are complete *****----! I tried a few RI dealers but they were quite expensive. I'm picking up a 448 hoe in the spring an you can bet I'll be going to Marvin. Actually I'm heading there tommorrow to pickup an Imatch. Good luck with your endevor.

lol.. thats funny... so far i have not made a purchase yet but i have found Stanton to be the best so far. I visited 3 different JD dealers today and Stanton was the only one who wanted to deal. I am waiting to hear back tomorrow with a final number and hopefully will be placing an order for an 07 2320.

Which Stanton location? I was talking the Plainfield store. I found the sales manager Jim, to be a complete tool. Not only did he not want to deal but he was down right rude. Then I went to buy some attachments he told me I should look else where. I'd think twice about buying from them. It's about more than just the best price sometimes. Good luck.

Yes, the plainfield store.... there are several Jims there... come to find out that Jim knew my grandfather so we chatted for a while... seemed like a nice pleasent standup guy to me.

although i just got a call from DH and they are looking to price match :)

DH is now wasting my time.. they called and said they would price match, then i leave work early to go make a deal and they then said they would only split the difference! ... When stanton still has the lowest price... Looks like i will be ordering a 2320 from stanton tomorrow morning.

Another vote for the Bradco pallet forks. I use them (Kubota L5030 with FEL skidsteer QA) and have hoisted 3,000 lb sod pallets. That was at the safe limits of my tractor & FEL,(The forks are rated at 4500) but I crawled (inches per hour), kept the load 4 inches off the ground, and hand on the stick, ready to dump the load instantly.

The forks are bulletproof and I would buy them again in a hearbeat.
