Feel like I'm beating a dead horse in trying to figure out why the loader curl / rollback is so weak. I hear lots of complaints on this loader, but haven't seen any solutions. Of course, it could be that it's as good as it gets, but that doesn't seem logical to me.
I am waiting on a pressure gauge to arrive so I can measure pressure on both the lift and curl functions of the loader. Should be the same. Spec is 2347 psi. If low, I don't see a pressure adjustment on the Besko controller. Anyone know where that is ?
I have looked at my cylinders and the seals are good and no leaks. One thing I noticed is that mine are bigger than the spec sheet says for the TYM made 2638CL. Spec are 45x30 mm each, and mine are 55x30 both sets. Thats almost 50% bigger cross section. They are the same size as those on a TYM BL200 which has much more lifting (2701 lb), rollback (2844) and breakout (3660) capacity which makes sense. The cylinders on the TYM TX39H loader, that is often said to be the loader on some of these tractors are 50x30 each set and correspondingly that loader has bigger capacity too - 2166 / 3435 / 2200. This is a big reason why it's not logical that these loaders can't be strong in all aspects. Question- what diameter are the cylinders on your 2638CL loader ?
I have noticed that the forks will sag as it sits overnight. The controller / valve should keep it locked in place unless there is a leak somewhere which I do not have.
Hopefully we can get some solutions to help an otherwise great tractor.
